Who would you like to tour with?
Dave: All promotional tours would be good, but there's a price to pay. The illusion is the ticket that says "special guest" the special guest has paid lots of money to use the main bands stage and pulling power, hey its advertising space, your using the main bands pull to show your advert so it had better be good. To answer your question, Maiden, Scorps, Priest, Blue Oyster Cult, Metallica, but only because I love those bands and it would be good grounding to be ignored back stage! And there you were thinking your favourite band were discussing you over a coffee, and just looking to ask you to come on tour and have fun! Yeh!
Ville Partenon (Jyvaskyla)
What was the most challenging song to play from the bass players point of view and then the same question from the guitarist point of view?
Dave: Challenging for different reasons, but from a bass players point of view, then I can't answer. For me there were lots of challenges. Probably the solo in "Perfect World" caused the most headaches.
Bram (Eindhoven)
What in your opinion is the best track on the CD?
Dave: I like them all for different reasons. But I guess "Always" will always! be a favourite, for personal reasons. Line of Fire , I am because it is a stormer, Believe me, all of them!
Siilinjarv (?)
How do you feel about the new LOS CD. (Truth, Lies and Damnation). From the information on the site it seems that Gill sings, plays guitar and bass, how did you find doing this in the studio?
Dave: I am very proud of the work we did.
What is your favourite drink?
Dave: I like Jack, Jim Beam, Dark Rum, Guiness and red wine, but not in that order, unless I am drinking with my good friends Marcus and John and it could well be in that order!!
Vanaudenaerde (Belgium)
Do you ever listen to your own music at home?
Dave: This is really Gills project so it is interesting to revisit some of the older material. Gill writes songs, passes them to me, and sometimes it will be months before I say to him, "hey lets look at this song", one of the new songs is a classic example it was written 18 month ago and I have just reminded Gill that it was a great track. He writes and forgets, and its my job to remind him what he has in his catalogue! Keeper of the catalogue, hey it has a ring to it!!
Lara (Konnevesa)
If you'd die today what would be written on your tombstone
Dave: Ha, what a question, I love it. On mine it would say "its all been too much of a fuck on" Although something a little profound would be more exotic, something like "he did his best but it wasn't quite good enough" School report/tombstone interchangeable brilliant!!!
